SAKI's DSLR advantage

For SAKI, daytime footage was shot with the Sony EX1 & night time footage was shot with the Canon 5D Mark II & 7D - in the same way a DP would choose daylight & tungsten 35mm film stocks for the run of a production. The idea to shoot with 2 cameras in this way came from an American Cinematographer interview with a DP that suggested they make a digital film camera with interchangeable sensors for daylight & tungsten.
SAKI: A feature film of a Japanese woman exiled to America, finding herself teaching art to a unique group of students. But when her grandfather visits from Japan, hell comes with him and Saki finds strength in the demons of her artistic expression.
