In the Shallows

It still amuses me when I see a DSLR productions where the wide shots have shallower depth of field than the close up shots. Don't get me wrong, I like wide shots with shallow depth of field but cut that with a close up with deep focus and it's very disorienting. Maybe it'll be a new thing.
