Sooo melodramatic. This live-action Kiki is so typical of Japanese pop-cinema - from happy-go-lucky to crying in the rain, yelling self-assertions. Miyazaki's film(s) were true coming of age narratives and not so much melodrama. We'll see how this version ends up.
