If I didn't know THE GUEST was an Adam Wingard film I would've actually liked the 1st act as it well-played into a stranger mystery-suspense story. But as with all his movies (so far) it all quickly devolves into deliberate, silly, & shamelessly borrowed plot manipulation regardless of any character building it might've accomplished. So many eye-rolls by the end I spent half the movie looking at my upper eyelids. And, yes I'll admit I enjoyed the retro music but that had nothing to do with movie itself. #facebook
