The color was certainly NOT the problem with MAN OF STEEL. The movie had one of the best trailers I had ever seen because it leveraged stylized visuals (which Zack Snyder excels at) and a pulse-pounding score by Hans Zimmer. But the film itself muddled the context of the Superman mythology all to hell and was pretty horrible before considering color. This culture of perfunctory reverse engineering is really annoying me. That said, I think MAN OF STEEL could benefit from complete re-edit - so I'd give these guys more credit if they went in and recut (and trimmed) the entire 2 plus hours of the film, then re-timed the color. #facebook
