I do remember my grandfather reading The Rafu Shimpo newspaper quite religiously, but for me as a kid it was the memories of using the paper to line the bottom of a bird cage he bought for me, or using the paper to wrap fish we caught when we went fishing at Dana Point, or lining the paper along my grandparent's dining table for when we painted Easter eggs. But as an adult I'm very much committed to a paperless lifestyle and now that The Rafu Shimpo is committing to an e-news format I'm going see if I can recapture some of those memories of my grandfather, not in the texture of the pages, but this time in the relevance of their content and I encourage you all too try it as well! http://ift.tt/1Um1XVs #facebook
