I just restored long lost digital photos from over 15 years ago from a CD-R. For you whipper-snappers that's a Compact Disc - Recordable that holds a whopping 650MB of data. Ironically I copied the photos to a 2TB hard drive that will likely only last a good 6 years. #sseig
