The real tragedy of ROGUE ONE is that the droid acts too perfectly human, the CG human stand-ins are too artificially creepy, and the archaic notion that America somehow identifies itself more with the rebel, the rogue, the insurgent over being the Imperial Army. Somewhere along the line the Hero's Journey was traded in for something arrogant & misguided.
