So I've been holding out on having an opinion about the Zacuto Shootout until the 2nd part was available. So now that I've seen part 1 I'm going to say I liked shot "F" the best in terms of lighting aesthetics with shot "C" representing a more balanced look and shot "I" a more contrasty, darker version. The other shots I found to be either too artificially lit or the wide shot looked a little too muddy (of course there are many factors to consider, biggest of which is that I watched this on my iPad). The close ups all looked pretty good. To me this is less of a camera comparison and more of a Cinematographer preference that happen to be using a particular camera as a tool to achieve their shot. On to part 2 - will I be pleasantly surprised? We'll see!
